Tasting Notes
Carlson Creek, in addition to having their own winery, are skilled grape growers. Their riesling is consistently excellent for us, and the 2021 vintage is no different in that regard. It is effusively fragrant, with orange blossoms, white flowers, honey, and lime on the nose. The palate tastes of key lime pie and green apple. There is ample but balanced acidity and the wine is completely dry with a long finish. This wine can be enjoyed now while it is fresh and fruity, or it can be aged to gain even more complexity for up to 7 years.
