21 Playa Roja

This is a special vintage of Playa Roja. The wine uses fruit almost entirely from the Deep Sky Vineyard in Willcox, one of the best vineyards in the state. It has a tiny amount of Petite Sirah added for complexity and color. This is a dark, brambly wine that resembles a great Côte du Rhône wine - black currants, plum, spice, a toach of toasty oak, red cherries, and floral notes. Drink now or hold for up to 10 years.
